Table of Figments in the Phony House
1d20 Hoaxes and Hoopla:
- Brightly painted "tribal" masks. The cheap paint is pealing.
- Shrunken heads, probably made of tanned internal organs.
- An "ancient magic sword." Mirrors cast a greenish glow on the blade from below.
- A jar of eyes.
- A ram with a pig's head.
- A masked ape with painted yellow fur.
- Wooden totems, badly carved into the shapes of animals.
- Beehives painted red. Preserves beetles with reddish fuzz glued onto them.
- A "magic crystal" that looks a lot like colored glass possibly stolen from a church.
- A bear in people clothes.
- The Mysterious Mirror! It shows you slightly fatter and shorter!
- The Dat! A dog with cat ears, stripes, and tail, created by an unholy union brought about by dark sorcery!
- The Dancing Armor! Wires move the suit for any that pay half attention.
- A chart of werewolf anatomy with a silver bolt and a tooth. The bolt and tooth are obviously hoaxes but the chart may actually have some merit if translated.
- Salamanders with colored feathers glued to them.
- A gelatinous cube! Made of colored jello.
- Birds with strange beaks and feathers. It seems a talented taxidermist has swapped around some parts.
- Hideous Hunglewumpfs! Balls of hair shaved from a very hairy man and glued together. Depicted as if in their natural environment.
- The Lenses of Lost Lemuria! A bunch of oddly warped circular lenses placed in a nonsensical apparatus.
- A vision of another world! Its a globe someone has painted differently.
